As my week in Kansas comes to a close- I am starting to realize just how simple life is out here in the Southwest. T-shirts&jeans laced with a leather belt and cowboy boots is the norm and I actually kinda love it. My wedges and flashy jewelry don’t seem to fit in so well and its a refreshing feeling to be honest. Thankfully this little romper did the trick and doubled as both practical and cute. The different patterns trimmed with my all time favorite tassels come together to create a pretty adorable get up.
The romper was purchased from Marshall’s just last week and the wedges are still available at DSW! Since the romper isn’t linked online I’m including a round up of some of my favorite patterned rompers for the end of the summer. Rompers are perfect as a transition piece because they can be layered with comfy cardigans and riding boots for the fall- (I’m pretty excited about that) Steve Madden is one of my faves for shoe quality and selection, and I managed to snag these beauties for $25! All these photos are courtesy of my best friend out here in Ashland- Kayla. We’ve had an awesome week here filled with lots of good food, horse back riding, sight seeing, and just plain enjoying each other’s company (along with her boyfriend Sean). I’m sad to leave today, but I know I’ll be coming back soon enough. Kansas and I get along pretty well I’d say.
Beachy waves. Scalloped shorts. Tory Burch sandals. The summer is so close to being over and I’m taking every opportunity I can to soak in the last luxuries of summer. Since it is nearing the end of the season, stores are going crazy with sales and I’m lovin’ it. This Old Navy beach bag was just $15 and it is perfect for a day out on the sand or a stroll through the park.
The gold Tory Burch sandals were purchased during the Nordstrom sale but are still available so if you can get your hands on a pair- do it! They give such a classy look to the every day tank and shorts. The shorts are from Plato’s closet and my top- Marshalls! Price savvy shopping is the way to this girl’s heart. Unfortunately that means I can’t link up the exact item- but I try my best to find something similar so you all can get the same look for a great price.
Today is the last day of my internship with Target- which means I’ve got 3 more weeks left until I head back to my second home (CNU!). I’m heading out to Kansas this weekend to visit one of my best friends so I will have a few really awesome posts coming up! Kansas has some pretty sweet photo spots so stay tuned for some fun shoots. I’m excited y’all.
