Christmas wishes

We are only 3 days away from Christmas! Can you believe that?! Just thinking about Christmas gets me  so excited.

In honor of Christmas being so close, I am posting my Christmas wish-list! Of course, I do not in any way expect all of these items as presents- it’s more of a way to give you all ideas of what to ask for if you haven’t already!

I sort of have an obsession with Disney (most girls do from what I’ve found out haha)…so that explains the 3 Ariel & Peter Pan items:) As for the other things, I’m loving plaid, bows, and infinity scarves right now! These items are from Old Navy, AE, and Tilly’s. And now for my two more expensive items: a rose gold Michael Kors watch and L.L.Bean boots. These two fashion statements mesh perfectly with so many winter outfits! The boots will double as rain boots and snow boots which makes me so happy!  My other favorite things are GIFTCARDS! You can never go wrong with those…Especially if they’re for Starbucks and Old Navy:) Hope you all are enjoying the holiday season<3 with love, samm.

pretty in peplum

The excitement of being home has brought about countless trips to the local mall. Thankfully for me, I live just 5 short minutes from a beautiful shopping center and an amazing outlet mall. This past week I made a quick run to the amazing American Eagle to raid their clearance rack. I found this adorable pink peplum top for a mere $14. So worth it, I think!

This outfit was so simple to piece together also! The top adds a perfect pop of color with the other dark pieces.

As you all have probably noticed, I add these riding boots to just about every outfit. They look great with everything, especially black leggings! I also love these antique gold key earrings, they look perfect with the antique finish of the belt buckle.

One important thing to remember is to always match your belt to your shoes! I added this cognac braided waist belt to give the outfit a little bit more “togetherness.” (I think that is a word, hehe :D)

All in all, this may possibly be my favorite outfit at the moment. It’s super comfortable too!

Don’t be afraid to check in on the AE clearance rack every now and then, sometimes you can find GREAT steals!
