Today is the day that us fashion bloggers have been counting down for- the annual Nordstrom Anniversary sale! During this sale Nordstrom card holders are given exclusive access to the upcoming season’s designer pieces for a HUGE discounted price. I never owned a Nordstrom card before today, but it is totally worth it to get one even if its just for this sale. As much as I’d love to buy everything on my list- I’m going to settle for just a couple items for the time being.

I just ordered the Tory Burch “Melinda” gold sandal and I’ve never been so excited to get something in the mail! The above list are just a few items that I found to be the most eye catching and adorable, but there’s several more on their site so you should check it out. Lots of Kate Spade *my fave!* as well as Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Dolce Vita, Frye, Kendra Scott, Vince Comuto…The list goes on and on. Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity to get some of the season’s best all while saving (more than) a few dollars! These deals go fast (I’m still mad at myself about not jumping in on this last year!) so make sure you get your signature fall items quick! The pre-sale ends on July 16th so get moving!:)

P.S. My mom always told me that when you buy for the quality- it always ends up being worth it. Anything made out of leather is going to last you for years, so don’t let the price tag intimidate you. It’ll be an amazing investment that will save you from buying more cheap items in the future.

pretty in peplum

The excitement of being home has brought about countless trips to the local mall. Thankfully for me, I live just 5 short minutes from a beautiful shopping center and an amazing outlet mall. This past week I made a quick run to the amazing American Eagle to raid their clearance rack. I found this adorable pink peplum top for a mere $14. So worth it, I think!

This outfit was so simple to piece together also! The top adds a perfect pop of color with the other dark pieces.

As you all have probably noticed, I add these riding boots to just about every outfit. They look great with everything, especially black leggings! I also love these antique gold key earrings, they look perfect with the antique finish of the belt buckle.

One important thing to remember is to always match your belt to your shoes! I added this cognac braided waist belt to give the outfit a little bit more “togetherness.” (I think that is a word, hehe :D)

All in all, this may possibly be my favorite outfit at the moment. It’s super comfortable too!

Don’t be afraid to check in on the AE clearance rack every now and then, sometimes you can find GREAT steals!
